Meet CP Okunade Ronke Nurat, FSL

CP Okunade Ronke Nurat, fsi, is the 31st Commissioner of Police in charge of Police Special Fraud Unit Lagos. She succeeds CP Godwin Ayotunde Omodeinde, psc, mnips, who retired on 4th of April, 2025

CP Okunade Ronke Nurat, fsi, is a native of Ogbomosho North in Oyo State, she holds a B.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Ibadan and joined the Nigeria Police Force in 1992.

Her distinguished career has spanned various leadership roles across multiple commands, including Lagos, Ondo, Kaduna, Oyo, and Cross River States, as well as the Railway Command and FCID Annex, Lagos

She has also attended several local and international courses and is a Fellow of the National Institute for Security Studies.

The PSFU encourages the public to report fraud cases and provides channels for submitting complaints and relevant documents

The PSFU is dedicated to investigating and prosecuting serious and complex fraudulent cases both within and outside Nigeria

About SFU

Police Special Fraud Unit is a section of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), a highest investigation arm of the Nigeria Police.

The PSFU serve as an internal resource within the FCID, conducting research and investigation into potential fraudulent activity.
